of rubber stamps. A car and a cup of spilled drink (pattern from the library book as shown above). I use this newly bought penknife and it really makes carving much easier. But I need to get some proper ink pads so that the effect of the stamp is better.
So here I went to Lovely Land, Daiso and Made With Love for these materials. The wood is meant for mounting the rubber stamp but silly me bought the wrong size. And I realise I need another type of inkpad for wood stamping. š¦ But it’s okay, I have other plans for the wood….hehe! ;o)
Now what I need is just more free time for perfecting my skills…. (^o^)

Those blocks would look so cute covered in fun scrapbook paper and then a small photo placed there with some embellishments!

oh! and I have that book! You mean it’s available at the library?? š It’s a beautiful book right? I bought her first book too. It was her book that first started me off on rubber stamp carving.

Jo, you use this size for mounting?? I thought I saw yours (flickr pictures) as only half the thickness?? And there’s only 12 square blocks not 18. I saw the longer ones too but definitely not what I wanted.
And yes yes, that book is from the library. There are a couple more too. Sometimes it’s available at White Sands branch but most of the time I found them in Tampines branch at the chinese non-fiction section. It’s a very useful and beautiful book!! š

It is tricky about inkpads. There are so many types on the market. I am using the all-purpose
oil base inkpad and I am happy about it for now.
